Factorizer Ltd is a UK engineering and software company. We design, manufacture, integrate and operate electric, autonomous and unmanned industrial systems; we build the enterprise applications that project- and production-driven businesses run on; and we specialise in human-computer interaction, which is what decides whether a person can actually supervise any of it. One organisation holds the whole lifecycle of a programme rather than passing it between suppliers.

Who we are

An engineering company that keeps the accountability.

We do not sell single machines. We take ownership of a need and carry it through software, robotics, manufacturing and fleet operation until the system is working and supported in the field.

That covers electric powertrain, autonomous and unmanned operation and robotics on one side, and software on the other: Cluster ERP and the enterprise applications a project-driven business runs on, plus the human-computer interaction work that decides how a machine is supervised and how control is handed back to a person.

Research sits inside that rather than beside it, because the interaction problems an unmanned machine raises have no catalogue answer. And because all of it is held under one roof, there is no gap between suppliers to argue across when something goes wrong. One organisation is accountable for the outcome.

We want industrial operations to be run more safely, efficiently and sustainably through electric, autonomous and human-centred systems. The way we get there is by turning the needs of different sectors into long-running programmes built on a shared technology foundation, rather than treating every requirement as a one-off machine.

Our mission is to turn the complex industrial challenges our customers and partners bring us into engineering programmes we own from end to end. Design, manufacturing, automation and software sit under a single accountable roof, so the customer has one trusted counterpart instead of a scattered pile of suppliers.

Structure

Specification and build answer to the same programme.

Engineering and production capability are held together rather than contracted apart. The engineering side carries the platform work: electric powertrain, autonomous and unmanned operation, robotics and human-computer interaction design. Production turns that into physical systems. The two work on the same programme rather than trading drawings across a boundary.

For a customer, this means the people specifying the system and the people building it are answerable to the same outcome. It also means finished systems can be shipped to site anywhere in the world, through contract and bespoke custom design-and-build.

Manufacturing standards

Built where the standards are already in force.

Our systems are manufactured in a production environment certified to a set of management system, welding and structural execution standards. This matters most in the parts of a build that are hard to inspect after the fact: weld quality, structural execution, traceability and consistency between one unit and the next.
